Liz + Jose = They Did May 3, 2008

Liz and Jose were married at the Orchard Creek Lodge at Sun City Lincoln on a beautiful spring day.

I thought this bright blue wall made a great background for a portrait of one of the flower girls.

The vibrant floral design was by Ambiance Floral Design.

They had a terrific D.J., Mike Anderson of Creative Memories Entertainment, who had some great lighting equipment for this introduction of the couple at the reception.

Yummy cake by Freeport Bakery.

Some portraits of our beautiful bride,

and handsome groom.

Slideshow coming soon.

Amanda + Bob = They will June 14, 2008

Ryan and I met Amanda and Bob at Baker Beach in SFO on May 17 for their engagement session. It was a little on the cold side with some fog, but we had a great time regardless.

My godson, Brandon, came along to be our lighting assistant and my friend Nathan grabbed some behind the scenes shots of us working.

Kalyn and Tim's Engagement

Blogged By Ryan!

Rose and I met Kalyn and Tim down at Mare Island to shoot their engagement session. They were an amazing couple to work with! They were so cool and all for our crazy ideas that we came up with. Since Mare Island is so close to the water, it was also nice to get away from the heat in the valley.

Since it hasn't been raining here in NorCal, these weeds were mighty dry and prickly but made for an awesome shot!

The stairs going up to the open door in the abandoned building..

This place was awesome inside! Rose and I love the grungy look and this definitely fulfilled that definition! We did have to watch out for old nails and glass but it sure made for a sweet photo!

There were so many great photos it was hard to pick just a few for the blog. This is one of my favorites!

After we were done and walking back to the car, I noticed I had a flat tire so I had to put on my tiny tiny donut spare. Once I got my tire off, there was the nail!

Kalyn and Tim are going to wed on September 21st on a beach in the OC which sounds incredible!! Thanks again! You guys are amazing!

Luc Luzzo in the Music Man, Jr.

Friday night I attended the performance of the Music Man, Jr. at the Davis Musical Theatre Company Young Performers Theatre to see Luc as Tommy Djilas. The show was terrific!

For anyone interested in more information about the theatre, you can visit www.dtmc.org.

Crystal and Mike = They Will June 28, 2008

Crystal and Mike met me at the Davis Arboretum on Friday for their engagement session. This was one of those days that it hit close to 100 so it was just a little warm when we got started. They were troopers though and all of us were really glad to have that delta breeze come in about halfway through the shoot.

There is such a bond between these two!

Joji & Corbin = They Will July 4, 2008

Blogged by Ryan!

Yesterday Rose and I went to San Francisco to shoot Joji and Corbin's engagement session! It was a beautiful day here in the valley but once we got into the city the fog started rollin' in. It's amazing what a change of temperature it was! Joji and Corbin were great to work with and we can't wait to photograph your wedding! :)

Andrew's Six Month Baby Portrait Session - Dixon California

Here's some sweet photos from Andrew's session today at his house.

With his teddy and a blankey.

With big brother, Anthony.

We really wanted to show off his faux-hawk.

With mommy, Julie, and Anthony - who is so done with the photos by this time.

This was Andrew at the end of November 2007.

Nichole's Senior Session

I was back in downtown Vacaville and Andrews Park on Tuesday for Nichole's Senior Session. Nichole and her mom, Karen, came down from Benicia after having to reschedule once for bad weather. The wind was a little worrisome but it ended up working out great.

Bailey came along on our session as well so we had to add her to some shots. Karen plans on having each of kids photographed with Bailey during their senior sessions.

I love the way her dress and boots blended so well with the scenery.

We couldn't pass up these gorgeous blooms downtown.

Thanks for being my lighting assistant Karen. Nichole's slideshow is *here*.
