Welcome to the online newsletter for Rose Photography. This is a running commentary on what I do, day to day, creating terrific wedding and portrait images. If you scroll down you can read all about my daily adventures, month by month.
Best friends, Marcus & Reed.

Lots more images from all locations are in the *slideshow*.
Meet Jack, Ella, and Andrew. This is our fourth year doing their holiday portrait and they get easier every year!

This one is my favorite. Although the kids were great for the session as you can see from above, I think this image sums up the chaos of life with four children.

What I am thankful for this year.....

This last image made it into the portfolio and is one of my favorites from the day.
Good luck in LA K-La!
Of course, I had to:
Yeah, I had to do this too even though Nathan is going to kill me! hee, hee. Apparently you need a permit to do professional photography there so Nathan is getting a ticket. Of course, the benefit of being the lowly "assistant" is that the ranger never even talked to me even though I was hauling a camera, hip bag, and my flash on a stick. To all my photo buddies, this is truly 'shooting from the hip' (pretty good, huh?) as I didn't want to press my luck by documenting this event and getting caught doing it.
Karen and Jesse were such good sports. They got a laugh out of it as well. Welcome to California guys!
On to Baker Beach where Lee got a little wet. I love the expression on his face.
A different take on the ring shot.
On the tractor:
By the reflecting pool:
This was Toni's vote for favorite image:
In the gazebo - this one is my favorite, it really says to me what it is like to live in Dixon with all the beautiful countryside surrounding us:
Monica's son, Josiah, helped me out a little bit during the session and also jumped in for a couple of shots. You'll have to watch the slideshow to see those images though.

We really loved the lighting and architecture and had a great time running around after the ceremony with them.
The park has the most incredible reflecting pools.
And of course, we can't forget the stunning fountains.
Alex's only task relating to their wedding planning was to pick the DJ and he did an awesome job by choosing to work with Justin and Kisty Rose of In The Mix 916. They were such a blast to work with and Justin is an incredible DJ, making it easy for us to get lots of terrific dancing photos.
Our slideshow from the day is *here*.

I really like the feel of this one.
Here's our first attempt at embedding a slideshow into the blog for viewing, just click on the play button in the middle.
