After a super fun engagement session in Napa and an incredible wedding in Lake Tahoe, I was honored to also photograph their maternity session. It was another great time! Man, I really love working with you two and cannot wait to meet Julianna!
Here's your little sneak peek, Beth. It's one of the first images we captured and I really don't think I could have chosen a better one. I love its sweetness and simplicity and of course I remember how comical this balancing act was! Ha, ha, ha. Joe, you are just too cool for school.
Facebook was being too persnickety tonight and would not let me upload this photo. I'll get it up there soon, I promise.
See you two next week for your preview session. I'm looking forward to showing off these photos! :p

Sammy's Maternity Portrait Session | Fairfield CA Maternity Portraits
Sammy came in to the studio last week for her maternity session. Her and her husband reside at Travis AFB with their son. Sammy hadn't done a maternity session the first time around and knew she definitely wanted to document this pregnancy for the second and last child, a daughter. She was so beautiful and definitely glowing with happiness. They will welcome their bundle of joy later this month!

A Beautiful Maternity Session
Lisa wanted a 20x20 collage of images of her session to present to her fiance on her birthday this weekend. So glad she did a collage because we had a hard time narrowing down to just six images, I don't think we could have picked just one. I'm looking forward to meeting baby Donna in April!

Nikki & Abel - Maternity Portrait Session - Yuma Arizona
A collage of images from Nikki and Abel's maternity session in June. We had a nice time at the Wetlands Park even though it felt like 90 degrees at 6:00 p.m.

Brenna's Maternity Session
I was so happy to photograph Brenna's second maternity session for her new daughter due on May 23. As you can tell, she looks amazing.
This little cutie is Tehya, who joined in for a few photos with mom and dad, Matt.

What a fun image comparing bellies!

A couple more of just momma and baby.....

Thanks for a great session, Brenna. It was wonderful to see you all again! I cannot wait to meet the new little one.

Almost Due!
I wanted to share with you a photo I took of Rose yesterday out in a field in Dixon. She is absolutely glowing! At a little under 3 weeks away from her due date, Rose thinks baby girl Ashlyn Rose might be coming a little earlier than expected. I can't wait to meet her, she will be so loved!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Janelle's Maternity Session
Ryan and I photographed Janelle and Tim's wedding last year so I was very excited to see her again for a maternity session. She is very creative so was up for anything, I love the images we captured for her and little Logan.
I was also happy to use some of my new backgrounds for the Virtual Backgrounds Scene Machine.

Thanks for coming in Janelle. I would love to hear about which one is your favorite. It was definitely hard for me to narrow down to just these few.

Monica's Maternity Session
I had so many photos that I loved from Monica's session that I had to have my friend, Toni, pick her favorites to post here. We went out to a house a couple of miles outside of Dixon where Monica used to live because I knew from working out there previously we would have some really cool outside elements to work with.
Of course I have to grab a shadow shot:
On the tractor:
By the reflecting pool:
This was Toni's vote for favorite image:
In the gazebo - this one is my favorite, it really says to me what it is like to live in Dixon with all the beautiful countryside surrounding us:
Monica's son, Josiah, helped me out a little bit during the session and also jumped in for a couple of shots. You'll have to watch the slideshow to see those images though.

Casey's Maternity Session
Casey and I had a terrific session today documenting her pregnancy of Connor Jack. Casey had some great apparel ideas, like bringing an old favorite pair of jeans,
a beautiful fabric that had been used as a draping on the head table at her wedding,
another slip of gorgeous fabric that was part of the veil she wore on her wedding day,
and a bow from her Christmas tree with a little note from God.
I can't wait to meet to Connor Jack! Enjoy your slideshow.
