Ryan and I teamed up again to photograph Amber and John's wedding this past weekend here in Dixon. The ceremony and reception were held at the private residence of the Fanning family.
We started with the girls getting ready, the all important details that go into the process:
Amber and John did their first look at the Davis Arboretum where we met with immediate family members for some photos prior to the ceremony. Here are our lovely bride and handsome groom:

Reception details, love this moment shared during their first dance:
Congratulations Amber and John! It was a wonderful day sure to be followed by a wonderful life together. I hope you are enjoying the Bahamas.

Katie Morse & Joshua Rector - Wedding - Vacaville California
This is quite possibly one of the longest posts I think I have ever made for a wedding. I wanted to include many images that hadn't yet been posted by any of the other wonderful photographers that were at the event. Josh's dad, Jim Rector, is a photographer in Houston, Texas who stepped in a bit to grab some shots. You were a really nice, "dad with a camera" to have around that day, Jim. You can read Jim's blog post *here*. Katie's sister, Shannon Morse, (a former assistant of mine) is also now adding the art of photography to compliment her extraordinary videography talent. You can read Shannon's blog post *here*. There have also been many, many images loaded on Facebook. Good luck to Jim in designing their wedding album with several thousand great images to chose from!
Ryan and I had a great time shooting this wedding and were honored that we were chosen to be the official photographers. Here's our take on the day.

Janet and Brent's Wedding
Janet Glide and Brent Hull tied the knot at the Hull Ranch on 07.18.09. Before we headed out to the ranch, we met Janet at her parents house out on Glide Ranch for some getting ready shots.
The shoes.

Janet looked stunning.

The girls.

The breeze sure did feel refreshing that day.

The guys were out at the ranch when we arrived and were ready to take pictures. These guys did a rad jumping shot!

I've been to many weddings, but none like this. While Brent and the rest of the bridal party walked down the aisle...guests were cheering them on. So much love in the air. It was awesome.

Mr. and Mrs. Brent Hull sharing an intimate moment.

Some shots of Brent and Janet

I love these clouds. Silhouette #1

The bride and groom making their grand entrance to the 250+ guests that made it to their wedding.

We stole Brent and Janet away for a quick minute :)

Couldn't pass up this one... Silhouette #2

The rings.

Cake!

Their first dance as husband and wife :)

Party time!

Heather and Blake's Wedding in Dixon
Heather and Blake were married on June 27, the hottest day we've had this summer so far. Despite the heat everyone had a great time and the celebration was rockin'.
Alisson Lowrie let us use her house for a few images of the girls before the ceremony. Her porch works awesome.
Meanwhile, at Bre and Robert McGrew's ranch (location of the ceremony and reception) Ryan was working with the guys.
It was interesting to see when editing the images that at just about the same time I was taking this image,
Ryan was taking this one:
We thought the reflection of the wedding party in the canal was pretty nice.

On to some shots of just Blake and Heather.

Blake was all smiles.
On the way to the reception.
The cake was awesome!
