Kalyn + Tim = They Did September 21, 2008

It's been awhile since we've done one of these but I had to start out this post with a self portrait.  We especially like this one because it shows all the gear we're lugging around while working a wedding.

Ryan and I drove down to Dana Point for Kalyn and Tim's wedding.  Of course the weather in OC was perfect.

Portraits of Tim and Kalyn at their hotel at Dana Point Harbor near the ceremony site.

The ceremony site with a stunning view of the harbor and southern coast.

Awww, first kiss as husband and wife.

What a good looking couple.

Fun bridal party shot.

So romantic.

Have to showcase those So Cal palm trees.

At the harbor.

What a sunset and a perfectly timed seagull flight.

First dance.

Dancing fun.

Of course, a little line dancing.

Toasting.

Last, but not least, the rings with some yummy favors.

Vancouver and Mexico Vacation

I was lucky enough to have been able to take two mini-vacations in August. I went to Vancouver first and then to Mexico. Both were beautiful and I really loved having the opportunity to visit both. I put together two collages of images from both places that I think really express what my memories of both places were like. Of course, there's always the shadow self portrait....

Seattle and Vancouver Vacation

I am officially taking a mini-vacation for five days, starting early tomorrow, and will be in Seattle and Vancouver through August 5. I will return phone calls and emails beginning August 7. I may have internet connection to post to the blog and hopefully will get some images as cool as this one of the Space Needle.

Favorite Photos from Las Vegas

I LOVE the Bellagio, especially the conservatory. I never miss seeing it whenever I'm there.

Outside the Paris, where we stayed.

On my way to Paris!!

The Paris in Las Vegas that is. I'm on my way to WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) convention. I'll be spending most of the next week at this convention overloading myself on photography education and learning about new products and services I can add to my studio. I get to see my photo buddies from all across the United States once a year at this event and I'm really excited to get to do so! If you contact me via telephone or email while I'm gone, I will probably not be able to get back to you right away so please forgive me.
