Suzanne Lorente's Portrait Session for her album cover

Two of the images Suzanne will be using for her album cover and CD insert. I can hardly wait to see the finished product and be able to sit down and listen to all her music. She sang a little bit for us when we were doing the session and image review. It surely made us want more.

Zachariah's Three Months Baby Portrait - Dixon California

These are some of my favorite images from this session taken late last year. Z was such a happy baby. We did several different set ups, one of which included hanging him from a branch tucked up safe and snug in some gauzy material.

I so love the background in this image!

Janelle's Maternity Session

Ryan and I photographed Janelle and Tim's wedding last year so I was very excited to see her again for a maternity session. She is very creative so was up for anything, I love the images we captured for her and little Logan.

I was also happy to use some of my new backgrounds for the Virtual Backgrounds Scene Machine.

Thanks for coming in Janelle. I would love to hear about which one is your favorite. It was definitely hard for me to narrow down to just these few.

Firefighter, Little Hero Portrait Session Special

Enjoy some images from our Firefighter, Little Hero Portrait Session Specials in 2009. These are one of the special sessions we'll be running again later this year. We'll be announcing the dates of our specials soon. This session is great for boys (and girls) ages 2 through 12. The costumes, gear, and other props are provided. This session is $49.95 and includes one 8x10 print of your choosing.

Happy New Year! Enchanted Forest Fairy Portraits - Dixon California

Happy New Year everyone! I'll be spending some time on here (0ne of my resolutions) catching up with many of the postings I missed over the last half of 2009. We had some great clients and shoots that I need to share.

To start with, some of the Enchanted Forest Faeries we worked with last year. These sessions are so magical!

New Virtual Background Scene Machine

So, I have gotten way behind on the blogging again. I received my new Virtual Backgrounds Scene Machine and was busy trying to get it all set up so I could play. I was very excited that it was finally here as I ordered it when I was in Las Vegas at WPPI (Weddings and Portrait Photographers International) convention. Then I managed to catch strep throat yet again so I was down for about a week. Now I am playing catch-up on everything.

I had a chance to do some work on it over the past week so this is going to be a long post with most of the first images I captured. There are a few more that I will add in the next couple of days. (Beth, don't worry, yours will be posted soon!)

Without further ado, here are some of the incredible people I photographed on the VB Scene Machine recently:

Emily, all the way from Oregon:

Little Lola, such a sweet angel. This image is entered it the National Charity Model Search benefitting the NILMDTS (nowilaymedowntosleep.org) foundation. If you would like to donate to a wonderful cause and vote for Lola to win, please click *here* to link to the voting site.
